I was sitting in the bus today and there was a lady talking to herself out loud. She was very passionate about what looked like she was arguing for in her conversation. People around her kept silent but I could sense the uneasiness in the space. Then an older man stepped into the bus and sat next to her. After a while he noticed that she was talking to herself and he started making fun of her in front of the other people on the bus. Then he started interacting with the lady! And the lady told him that he was crazy!
There is a section in Eckhart Tolle’s book “A New Earth” where he writes about a woman talking to herself out loud on the train. He had followed her when she exited the train and discovered that she worked in a building of a very prestigious company in London. So the moral of the story is that we all talk to ourselves, and some of us have the monologue on loud speaker, like that lady on the bus. What is the conversation you have having with yourself right now in your head? We are all a little crazy and that does not exclude you.
